Nightmare Before Christmas is a Christmas AND Halloween movie. “But it’s not horror! It can’t be a Halloween movie!” WRONG! Firstly, horror is not exempt from Christmas movies!
I don’t know the quality of this film, but horror Christmas movies can and do exist! Horror is not isolated to the spooky month!

I doubt anyone would describe these movies as “scary” unless they were a kid (not that that’s wrong but you get what I mean). They have the themes and vibes of Halloween and of horror and of scares, but overall they’re more whimsical and full of childlike wonder.
I love you sickly yellow colors. I love you decaying greens, rusted browns, and ashen grays. I absolutely adore the use of color! Its so ominous yet comforting at the same time

Neil probably was one of the earlier people who was like "yes lets do this!" Probably Norman was more secretive about using his ghost powers, so it wasn't being used to the fullest extent. Norman is shy about that you know? So Neil probably was a big encourager of Norman eventually talking to the others which then leads to Norman using his powers to the full extent. Idk. Neil is big on encouraging and probably helps where he can. Worst comes to worst, he can call Mitch. His calling card I enjoy the idea of being the Hockey mask.
