With a shaking hand, Isabelle rang her boyfriend's doorbell. They had been together for a while now and things had been going well. That was, until Isabelle was a week late. After taking tests, it was pretty clear that Isabelle was indeed pregnant. And today was the day she was going to tell Gabe. She was nervous, but most scared; scared of what might happen. She wouldn't really blame Gabe if he wanted out. This wasn't the plan at all, after all. But that didn't stop her from hoping that he wouldn't. The thought that she was pregnant was scary enough. The last thing she wanted was to end up doing this alone. Sure, her family would most probably back her up anyways, but she'd prefer to do it with Gabe around. So that the baby would have both a mom and a dad. But at the end of the day, it was really up to him, wasn't it?

Jake had met a girl earlier in the day named Isabelle. She seemed really nice and she had a cute accent. They had already covered the basics earlier so he knew a bit about her, but was excited to get to know her a bit more, and also introduce her to weed. He couldn't believe she's never tried it- usually all teenagers in this day are frequent users. He decided that he'd meet her at the beach, so he grabbed his stash of weed- in a handy container he got in Amsterdam last year with the Red Light District on the cover. 

He made his way downstairs, texting Isabelle that he was on his way to the beach if she wanted to make her way down there. Earlier he had rolled a few joints, just so he didn't have to do it down there. Jake walked through the house and out the back door, walking along the path that he took to the bonfire the other day. 

Viola fidgeted anxiously in her seat, playing with her fingers as she waited. They had arrived a little earlier than her appointment, and as such had to wait out in the lobby of the establishment. She glanced over at Isabelle, her former teacher turned friend. She remembered her time in high school, and aspiring to be exactly like the woman. The thought brought a smile to Viola's face. She had done fairly well for herself, or so she had thought. It would be a lie to say Isabelle had no influence in that, if for nothing more than giving a young girl a role model to look up to. 

"Thank you, for coming with me." she said, smiling sincerely. This was important to her, and she wanted someone she could trust to be by her side. Briefly she had considered inviting Genevieve along, but came to the conclusion the brunette would be far too busy with her own personal matters. And if all turned out well, Viola would inform her fairly soon enough anyhow. She just wanted to make sure everything was alright first, before spreading the news to everyone.
