I don’t think they did enough with the fact Parado originated from what was likely the very first prototype of Mighty Action X (Mighty Action C), or that he’s technically the ancestor of all bugsters in existence.

I think the writers should’ve let him do something cool with the proto gashats (I’m specifically thinking abt Proto Mighty Action X which Kuroto uses rn, but I think Parado generally should’ve been more involved with the proto gashats. After all, Graphite got to have a go at the Proto Drago Knight Hunter Z gashat, right?), let him have a special ability that only he has (and other bugsters don’t).

Idk I just don’t think they did enough with him. I feel like they keep positioning him within the narrative as “Patient 0’s bugster” (which focuses his character towards Emu) rather than “Case 0/the first of all bugsters” (which would have given more opportunities to explore his own existence separate from Emu).

Why is there like 3 different spellings of Parado’s name??? Also some people spell Para-DX as Para-DX which is iirc the way it’s supposed to be spelled, while others spell it "Paradox" which is how it’s pronounced

I think the reason I found Parado so interesting is because at least when I first watched Ex-Aid, I had rarely seen happy-go-lucky/ray-of-sunshine villains that were still joyful and didn’t turn serious when they became the “main” villain.

Usually the cheerful villains I saw at around that time would become very serious and all their smiles and laughs would be dark and sinister when they had actual power.

Meanwhile, Parado keeps his bright innocent attitude. Even when he actually posed a serious threat to the riders (when he got his gashat), he still almost seems innocent. Maybe because he’s technically only a child?

I faintly remember coming across a Yandere!Parad AU somewhere a couple years ago and I didn’t really read past the title but I remember I found it really funny.
