It is my pleasure to officially introduce Whimsical Precision, a collaboration with @victoryvintageboutique I came across the photography of @brandewilkerson at @victoryvintageboutique. I was drawn to the delicateness and styling of her photography as well as her headpieces and costume design. I could see a narrative through her photos and I was inspired to transform it. I created new headpieces using prints of Brande’s photos. Through precision hand cutting of each photo I was able to craft a headpiece reflective of my vision. The photoshoot was then recreated, by @victoryvintageboutique using my headwear as the artwork, encouraging the viewer to take a closer look and read a different story through the composition.
