The panzer 3 the allround light/medium workhorse of the German army. A nice tankshape and lots of variants to choose from.

Not too sure what to do with them yet but depending on the size of them I was thinking grot tanks? Are ork looted tanks still a thing?

Panzer III

The Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf A! The very first version of the famous Panzer III, Germany’s first medium tank. Only 10 of this initial version were built, and it was distinctly identifiable by it’s 5 large road wheels that used a coil spring suspension system, unlike the 8 leaf spring road wheels used on the Ausf B-D models, and the torsion bar system with 6 wheels used on the main production variants of Ausf E through to the Ausf N. It was armoured with only 14mm of steel plate, and carried a 37mm gun in the turret, with (unusually) a pair of coaxial machine guns. The 10 produced saw combat in Poland, and even some later in France. The initial design proved inadequately armoured, and the suspension system gave poor performance, so the vehicle was designed later. This LEGO version is accurately scaled to minifigures as best as I could get it, and not only features 3 opening hatches in the turret, but a fully detailed engine compartment including radiators, as well as a detailed crew compartment with room to sit a driver and radio operator.
