Easy Creamy Pan Fried Chicken Recipe
The fragrant Chinese five-spice powder is mixed with the salty tastes of soy sauce and sesame oil in this pan-fried Asian Five-Spice Chicken. The result is a tasty and juicy chicken dish that's great for any event. It's great for busy weeknights because it's quick and easy to make.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon Chinese five-spice powder. 1 tablespoon honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, minced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for frying. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, Chinese five-spice powder, honey, garlic, and ginger. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Pan-fry chicken in the skillet until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Once cooked, remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
