CSM Sweater prototype 2.0 I’ve finished the front left and right sweater panels and have seamed the midline. Happily the two 96 stitch flat worked panels meet up nicely on this sweater. This design features a 2 stitch decrease scoop neckline that switches to a 1 stitch seam which in the next version will be modified to a strip over a point as shown. This current design features an angled sleeve seam of which future sleeves will complete the neckline in part and of course join the back segments of the sweater. Excited! Want more info? CSM Sweater prototype 1.0 I’ve finished the waist by loading the live leveled row on 2mm circular needles then hand knitted using 2.5mm circular needles a repeated 2 knit 2 Purl ribbed pattern all the way around for 11 rows worked 11 rows. Cast off with the super stretchy bind off. It took me longer to hand knit the waist area than it did to build all the panels (also because I did this between working). I’m done with this version. I’ve decided to modify the shaping and proceed with version 2.0 after seeing what I can do to solve the flat row counting ability. Want more info? CSM Sweater prototype 1.0 progress. :) :) all vertical slip stitched seams are joined (note to self not to make next version slip stitched on joins). Today I levelled out all the panels at the waist and put all live stitches over two circular knitting needles. I need to determine design for the waist area and work on shoulder to sleeve area.
