*Paneer makhaane bhurji* Recipe Ingredients - oil, pinch of asafoetida, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 4 cloves garlic, 1" ginger, 1 medium onion (chopped), 500g paneer (crumbled), 2 katori makhaane (washed but not soaked), 2 medium tomatoes (chopped), 1 green chilli (chopped), 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp sabzi masala, salt to taste, coriander leaves for garnish. Method - 1. In a kadhai, take some oil and heat it. Add heeng and cumin seeds to crackle. 2. Now add chopped onions and let these get translucent. Then add chopped tomatoes with green chilli and let it get mashed a bit. 3. Add dry spices like turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, sabzi masala, salt and mix it well. Let it cook to see a little oil getting separated. 4. Later add 1 small katori water to it and then add makhaane. Cook it for 5 mins with lid. 5. When you see water dried almost then add crumbled paneer to the mixture and mix it well. 6. Cook it a little and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
