I've had this concept rattling in my brain for awhile, and I finally had the motivation to draw it
I really enjoy imagining prehistoric megafauna interacting with different phases of human history - as unrealistic and silly as it may be
That being said, Paleoloxodon Namadicus marching across the steppes of East Asia as a Mongol Scout patrols past it.
A Parthian farmer boy and his good friend the 20-ton palaeoloxodon (lore below)
An unassuming farmhand freed this lone palaeoloxodon namadicus from traps, and a life of servitude in the army's elephantry.
The two formed a bond, enough for the farmhand to seek the support of a seperatist princedom, and eventually they took up the fight once again in the form of brute force raids on convoys and camps across the vast steppes of western Asia.
Legend soon spread of the boy atop the giant, long legged elephant, which strode across the plains and brought not just retribution, but a primal show of strength not familiar to the planet in over thirty-thousand years.
