hot take i think palebird should be a little bit more scrutinized because while i forgive her for not being too present on account of the postpartum depression i think being being silent is being complicit, especially while your husband degrades and neglects your son. i think the fandom forgets that she defends sandgorse even though he was at minimum neglecting and maximum verbally abusing tallpaw. dont get me wrong, sandgorse should take blame, but palebird should too. they are both bad parents imo

Storytime: I remember Bluestar going insane scared younger me so bad that I had a nightmare about her breaking into my house to scream at me that I'm a traitor.
She is also one of my favs and I had made a paper puppet of her that dropped on the water and I cried after.

Her StarClan thing was scary honestly, I haven't read the first arc in years but I really like that plot of her losing her mind and trust in StarClan, it's not written the best but warrior cats has never been great at managing mental health, look at Palebird, it's never actually said she had depression and that kinda pisses me off
