After a rollercoaster season of glamour, grit, and grace, Zambia has found her queen. Kunda Mwamulima was officially crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on April 21, sealing her place as the nation’s next global fashion and beauty ambassador. And as far as coronations go, this one had it all — from a dazzling evening gown moment to an emotional victory speech that has since gone viral.

Elegantly owning the stage, Mwamulima triumphed over 20 formidable finalists and earned not only the national title but also the keys to a stunning new Benz — courtesy of principal sponsor Jelumu Jelumu. Her reign officially begins now, but all eyes are on November, when she will represent Zambia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand.

“This is a dream come true,” the Kalulushi native shared with fans and supporters online. “If God says yes, no man can say no. To every girl watching, you are enough. Chase your dream.”

Kunda’s journey has been a story of resilience and reinvention, shaped by relentless training under Arm Model Management, Zambia’s premier runway grooming agency. The agency’s founder, Alice Rowlands Musukwa, took to Instagram to welcome her newest queen: “Our beautiful Queen. To you is a successful journey filled with nothing but love, happiness; and shopping soon!”

But Mwamulima wasn’t the only star to shine that night. The grand finale crowned a full suite of Zambian queens headed for global runways:

Bwalia Faith is Miss World Zambia 2025, heading to India.

Anita Musonda will represent Zambia at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand.

Namakau Nawa was crowned Miss Supranational Zambia 2025 and will travel to Poland.

With a heart full of gratitude, Mwamulima thanked mentors, makeup artists, MPs, personal sponsors, and family: “You’ve truly changed my life... this crown is for all the girls who were told they couldn’t. We are rewriting that story.”

From Kalulushi to the catwalks of Bangkok, Mwamulima’s story is only just beginning and it’s already dripping in elegance, empowerment, and undeniable Zambian pride.
