For this ritual you will need; a green marker, an egg, seeds, and a good place to watch things grow. For the best results perform this ritual at dawn or dusk. Before you begin your ritual, clear your space, center yourself, and open your heart so you are ready to receive whatever wisdom or gifts the Goddess may bestow on you. Begin your ritual in the place where you intend to “watch things grow.”  Sit or kneel in the dirt, so you are physically close to the earth and meditate on your intention. The intention you chose can be anything you wish to manifest in the coming year.  Perhaps you wish to gain recognition at work, or become more patient? Maybe you want to want to make some healthy lifestyle changes or become a better listener? Whatever you chose, be certain it is something you can work towards and then visualize the steps you will take to accomplish your goal. With your intention clear in your mind, write it on your egg with the green marker.  Write as much or as little detail as you chose (you can even represent your intention with a rune or symbol), the important part it that you have ahold of it in your mind. Once you are finished putting your intention onto the egg, dig a hole in the ground for the egg (deep enough critters won’t be tempted to retrieve it). Place the egg into the hole and repeat this chant; “Equal light and equal dark, I plant this egg with my mark, Bless these seeds to grow in me, My intention- so mote it be!” Repeat the chant three times while you bury the egg. Sprinkle in the seeds in with the last few handfuls of dirt. Place your hand on the spot which holds your intentions, and thank the Goddess. Over the coming days nurture the seeds alongside your intentions- watch your will manifest as they grow!
