It is the time of year when the herbaceous Paeonia species (peonies) start to emerge with the drama of their red shoots, these will turn into the characteristic green foliage. These plants are great when combined with Galanthus (snowdrop) for a late winter display.

I mean…if you want to live you kinda have to resort to violence against the people who want you dead, there is nothing you can do :/ (botched killing the last guy though-)
