Packwood Lake Trail - Packwood, WA
Today I took Doug on one of the hikes I did while he was off doing a little overnight training on the PCT (this was a couple of years ago). Beautiful hike up to Packwood Lake, with views of Mt. Rainier through the treetops at the beginning of the hike. The hike is a lovely walk through the woods to the lake - nothing too strenuous and plenty of cool things to take in along the way.
Highly recommend this hike, lots of parking at the trailhead and plenty of cold brews at Packwood Brewing after you are done hiking!
