Sometimes I’m like, “I’m not doing so bad. I’m doing okay, actually. But I’ve got a bit of a headache, so lying down for a minute would probably help.” Bc I’ve learned to listen to my body and pace myself.
—And then I lie down, and realize “woah. Okay, that was more of a headache than I realized. And I am breathing way harder than I should be for someone currently lying down, formerly standing and doing nothing else remotely strenuous. And it’s taking a long to go back to a reasonable breathing pattern. Also, I can think more clearly now. I didn’t even realize I was foggy.”
