Vell Paari no longer MIC's strategy director

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 3, 2015:

MIC President Datuk Seri G. Palanivel’s decision to replace a number of key positions in the party is not surprising, however it is perplexing, according to the now-former party Strategic Director Datuk Seri S. Vell Paari.

Palanivel, in a statement released today, announced that Ramalingam Krishnamoorthy would be the new Strategic Director of MIC replacing Vell Paari while Datuk Kumar Silambaram (Datuk G. Kumaar Aamaan) would take over as the secretary-general of MIC, replacing A. Prakash Rao.

“I have also appointed three new members to the Central Working Committee. They are Karuppanan Malairaja (Penang), Datuk Ganesan Subramaniam (Kedah) and Ganesan Thankaveloo (Selangor).

“They will be taking over from Tan Sri Dr K.S. Nijhar, Datuk R. Ramanan and Datuk K. S. Balakrishnan (Johor),” said Palanivel in the statement.
