Since Alina had told her she was pregnant Ginger had been worried sick over her friend. But, also she was worried about poor Casper learning they were going to be a parent. She had texted them to check in and eventually had offered for them to come see Nicolette - test the waters, so to speak. She went about cleaning the house and making sure it wasn’t a total wreck for company. She’d spent the night before doing it as it wasn’t that much to do and she’d much rather stay up than get up early. In the morning she went and got Nicolette, getting her ready for the day. She sat her down and started getting her breakfast. Placing it in front of her she sat next to her little girl, “Mon chouchou, my friend Casper is going to come over and meet you today, okay?” Nicolette looked at her mother but didn’t respond, happily munching away. “Is that okay - if Casper comes over to help mommy out?” she asked once more, tucking a curl behind the little girl’s ear. After a moment she nodded, “It okay mommy.” 

After breakfast she sat Nicolette on her hip and went about cleaning up her plate. She was just about done with that when she heard the doorbell ring. She shut the water off and wiped her hand on a dish towel before walking to the door. Pulling it open Ginger offered a smile, “Bonjour, mon ami.” She then looked down and pointed to Casper, “Nicolette, say ‘good morning’ to Casper.” she instructed sweetly to her daughter.
