And here is my finished "Palace of Medusa" based on the artwork of the same name by @patrickjjonesillustrator sculpted by the team @mindwork.studio I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it! Painting this was quite possibly the most work I have ever done on a piece, with numerous layers going into each element and glazing to try to get as much depth as I could without making it look overdone. I loved the original and wanted to show it while amplifying the colour so it could be seen at its smaller scale, which proved to be quite challenging! I really hope you enjoy this piece as much as I do and I also hope that it might get some sort of achievement at the @qld_model_hobbies_expo in August, so if you are in the Brisbane area and are attending the event you can see this amazing piece as well as some of my other works in person! Here is Gwynevel from the "Guardians of the Fey" Bundle, This one has a lot of elements that you have to bring together for it to work, there are vines everywhere! But they can't just be green or it would overcrowd it and not too much brown because it would be too flat, I also wanted to do the batches of flowers different colours to encompass the 'whole of nature' I think so far this one is my favourite! Finished the next entry for the 'Mini of the Month' at #warhammermtgravatt These little plague rats are from the Age of Sigmar Boardgame 'Cursed city' I wanted to make them a bit unappealing so there is some toxic green goo that they are running through, I also made the wounds and pustules look a bit more gross! The last piece from a commission set for the team over at @dm.stash! Here is Steampunk Barbarian Artificer Eyrik from the "Fire & Fey" Bundle, now this guy is cool! Even without paint! I don't think I have ever thought of a Barbarian Artificer before, the biggest thing with this guy is trying to incorporate Steampunk, Engineer, Barbarian, and Artificer! He had to be leather clad with lots of copper and brass but also grimy like he doesn't mind getting his hands ( and claw…) dirty! The finished product certainly looks like someone you wouldn't want to cross but also have on your side in a fight! I kind of see a bit of myself in this one!
