#oz squad

Ok so, i have this idea for.... a very long time ago, but it still on going due to my busy schedules, now, i realized i cant do it alone and even so, it wont be fun and meaningfull as much as we do it together.

HELL YEAH, u not hearing wrong!!! December will be Oz Squad's anniversary and we will redraw the first issue with our style in art and comic story telling!! Isnt it great? :D

If you want to join, please DM me and we will hope in the discord, then each artist will have some pages to redraw in their style, then when we finished, we will upload it on here, instagram and twitter!!

I mean I know and a lot of others know my main way of enjoying fandoms is with ships, and Scraps x Scarecrow is my main ship, but my autistic lesbian mind may have attached to her too much.

This isn't even near all of them, I just hit the limit for the first grouping. Scraps may not be in a lot of Oz media by comparison, but the little she's in, I'm determined to find and read/watch all of them. I've read/watched all of these and more, I may make a list at some point.

Every time I think about that flashback panel in the second part of Oz Squad that showed that Scraps was a part of the Gale Force before her death (As well as a living plane was part of the group) I think of, well a lot of how interesting that is and a lot of other thoughts but also, what on earth was the giant fight and debate that lead the rest of the Oz Squad and Ellen Dorothy managing to get Scraps into a pitch black sweater.

I assume it had to do with some type of spy mission and they couldn't let Scraps be a neon light of patches, and Scraps is smart, but also I just imagine that must have been an ordeal, at the very least something she was not happy with.

Oz Squad - Thing is, Oz Squad actually is my favorite Oz media. I just don't talk about it a lot since it is 18+ for storylines. I have thought about trying to make more on my other account or filtering it here but, yeah. Funny though, as it makes me feel emotional pain but I love it.

Caliber Oz - It's awful and I love it. I don't care about the main characters or most of the main story, I only care about Scraps, Scarecrow, Stitch and sometimes Ozma and Dorothy when away from the main group. A lot of issues, a big mess, so much commentary, it's a guilty pleasure and I love it, it has a weird place in my heart.

Oz Kids - This is an old kids Disney cartoon based on the 14 and I have so many theories and a whole AU on how much I absolutely overthought everything.

Emerald City Confidential - It is great and a fun re-imagining of Oz that actually seems to be a sequel, so much in the world and so many questions to be answered.

Zenescope Oz - I was not expecting it to be as good as it was, because of the designs I had put it off for a really long time but it's actually heavily a re-imagining of the 14 and really fun. If you like Oz and superhero comics this is for you.

The Rainbow Road to Oz - It was never completed but I regularly watch the clips, particularly of Scraps and Scarecrow dancing and have all their character design images saved. I have many thoughts.

randomly learned about the existence of Oz Squad (1991-1996) and apparently it ran for 10 issues. it's just bonkers.

honestly I prefer how this artist draws Scarecrow, haha. it's nice when artists closely reference the John R. Neill design, it's one of my favourites.
