Her name is Atlas, and she's a "barn owl spirit" alterhuman. Bottom picture is her kintype, and I think she's really cool :D
something that has always bothered me is that as a barn owl, no irl barn owl habitats match where i feel i should live. everything else (behaviours, etc) match but not the habitat
i've always felt that if i were a theriform owl, i would live in the forest kingdom of tyto (an entirely fictional place), which makes me wonder if i'm an irl owl, or a gog'h owl. obviously they're practically the same thing (aside from certain mannerisms and the whole societal structure and the fact that some of them can read and write and cook food, etc.), but the things gog'h owls do in addition to normal owl behaviours makes me feel like im actually a fictional owl and not an irl owl.
the difference is small enough that theres no point considering them different species or clarifying that i'm the fictional version of the species, but idk. it's just something ive realised recently (this has actually been sitting in my drafts for months oops)
maybe it's just a case of imprinting, like how human children will adopt the mannerisms and habits of those they are raised by. i obviously wasn't raised by owls irl, but gog'h was my first real exposure to owls (in terms of behaviour and stuff), so perhaps i just absorbed the behaviour i read about and saw on screen
