So i collect anything with a blade and often train with them. Resulting in me having more than a few scars. This gets some nice conversations like this.

Mirror of Erised
Okay I just had a thought that I don't know if anyone already had:
What if some hogwarts students used the mirror to find out their real gender or sexuality?
Imagine a male student seeing in the mirror himself making out with not his girlfriend but his best friend.
A female student that sees a masculine version of her/himself.
An asexual student going to the mirror with his friends, which all describe how they see having intercouse with their dream-partners while he sees himself eating cake and laughing with his friends.

So my Brother and i got this Joke about having supernatural blood. For one Thing we can both See rather good in the DARK and are easily blinded. For another thing our mother is smaller than us (Not dwarfism but let's say i'm with 1,75m the tallest in the Family for generations.) Once we got some shovels and wanted to dig a hole to put our Beer in to keep them cool but we got a bit too into it and ended up with a 6ft deep grave.
