Test Me in This
Afraid that giving to God means you'll have less for yourself?
God is so confident in His ability to bless you that He actually dares you to test Him.
Malachi 3:10 contains the only place in Scripture where God says "test me": "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
God doesn't just promise to meet your needs when you give - He promises to overflow your life with blessing.
"Floodgates of heaven" means an unstoppable downpour of goodness. "So much blessing" means abundance beyond your capacity to contain it.
This isn't about money alone - it's about trusting God with everything He's given you.
When you give your first and best to God, you're not losing anything - you're positioning yourself for supernatural multiplication.
That paycheck you're afraid to tithe from? God wants to bless it. That talent you're hesitant to use for Him? He wants to multiply it. That time you're reluctant to give? He wants to redeem it.
Today, take God up on His challenge. Give Him your first, and watch Him give you His best.
