October 31, 2016 - Ring Ouzel (Turdus torquatus)
These thrushes are found in parts of northern and southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. They eat invertebrates, including earthworms, beetles, and flies, as well as seeds and fruits. Breeding in mountainous areas, they build cup-shaped nests in vegetation or on the ground, feeding mostly worms and beetles to their chicks.
