headcanon: Jimmy begins listening to a lot of Indian music, especially during and after his trip to Gujarat. He might not be a huge Bollywood fan, but he becomes obsessed with Indian Independent music artists and meets most of them during his Gujarat stay. When The Ark begins planning their next tour, he suggests some cities (including Bangalore and Ahmadabad lol) in India and invites artists like Outstation, Chaar Diwari and Aditya Rikhari to open for them.
Excuse me? Pinterest are you okay?

OutStation: India to the World!
Meet OutStation: India’s First Global Pop Boy Band Is Here
Get ready, world—India’s next big musical sensation has officially arrived.
Say hello to OutStation, the brand-new pop boy band making history as they step onto the global stage. Handpicked from thousands of hopefuls, these five talented young men—ranging in age from 17 to 22 and representing the vibrant diversity of India—are ready to make waves in the music world.
The journey began earlier this year when Republic Records joined forces with acclaimed Indian-American songwriter and producer Savan Kotecha—whose songwriting credits include hits for Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and One Direction. Their mission? To find and develop India's first globally impactful pop boy band.
Following an intensive search and a month-long training bootcamp, OutStation is finally ready for the spotlight.
“India has always been home to extraordinary talent, but we haven’t yet seen a youthful pop group that truly captures the charisma and diversity of the country,” Kotecha tells Billboard. “With OutStation, we’re changing that. These five incredible young men embody not just talent, but the heart, hustle, and hope of modern India.”
With their debut just around the corner, OutStation is poised to introduce the world to a new era of Indian pop—fresh, dynamic, and globally minded.
Stay tuned. This is just the beginning. 🎶
Let me know if you want it to sound more casual, more professional, or tailored for a specific platform like Instagram or a press release!

What if Outstation attended Hogwarts?
What if Outstation attended the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry🪄?
However, there's a twist: this sorting focuses on the hybrid of 2 houses rather the traditional single-house framework. How would the sorting hat( me, an absolute amateur lol ) sort them accordingly based on their core drive, how they execute their vision and the consistent patterns through which they act.
A Quick Disclaimer Before We Begin:
I’m definitely not a hardcore Potterhead and I’ve only watched the movies, so I’m looking at the Hogwarts houses strictly as a fun personality framework here! Think of it more as an archetype deep-dive than a canon lore breakdown.
A Lil 🤌🏻 of philosophy....
These guys are real, complex, messy humans who exhibit traits from all four houses depending on their day, their current mood, etc. But typing them helps us look at their consistent patterns. Remember, this is all for fun and not to be taken as the law.
Humans can NEVER be placed into neat boxes (it's a bit unnerving because we as humans crave predictability, but there's also a bit of hidden beauty in it). Yes, some of us (including me!) have this need to be 100% sure about human nature, but it just can't be.
A study or a theory can be published that says it's 100% sure about human nature, but can't that study or theory be subject to being challenged in the future? And that's alright. This does not mean everything is a lie and fake; rather, there's a bit of truth in it too. But truth rarely comes in a single solid color—rather, it presents itself in shades.
The flavour of ambition
All these boys are ambitious—
they all want to be the greatest Indian boyband ( "allegedly" mentioned in their tagline). They all want to be admired, loved, popular, and very successful, but the flavor of their ambition is distinct from each other.
Same for valuing loyalty, community, skill, intelligence, bravery. They all have it in them and value that too, but again, it's expressed differently in different ways.
They are all deeply ambitious, but they want it for completely different reasons and they go about achieving it using completely different skillsets.
It shows why they work so well as a group. If they all had the exact same "flavor" of ambition, they would clash constantly. Because their flavors are distinct, they balance each other out perfectly.
My Quick House Guide for this Post (The Core Flavors):
🦁Gryffindor vs. Slytherin🐍: It's less about flat bravery vs. ambition, and more about Gryffindor's drive for the emotional roar of the audience versus Slytherin's calculated patience to master the long game.
🦅Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff🦡: While anyone can care about logic or community, Ravenclaws ultimately prioritize protecting their fiercely independent perspective, whereas Hufflepuffs prioritize protecting the fairness and balance of the collective ecosystem.
(Keep in mind: Not everyone who shares the same house hybrid will be twins! There are massive differences even within the exact same combination. Not all Ravenpuffs will be exactly like Bhuvan, not all Gryffinpuffs will act like Kurien, and so on. For example, Me and Mashaal share the same house hybrid (Slytherclaw) we might share some similarities here and there but our differences outweigh our similarities. They are their own people first!
Let the sorting begin..........🧹
🪄 Bhuvan Shetty: Ravenpuff
✧ Core drive: His Hufflepuff dominance shows up in how he answered a question raised by a passenger (fan). The question was, "If you were a tree, which one would you be?" (For those who don't know, Bhuvan loves plants.)
He answered, "I would be a mango tree because it gives shade to people," which is very Hufflepuff-coded.
✧ Execution style: The Ravenclaw in him shows up in his role as the organized, detail-oriented backbone of the band, ensuring everything runs smoothly through sheer consistency. (Don't get me wrong, I've met Ravenclaws who are messy and disorganized.)
And remember what Mashaal once shared about him— he (Bhuvan) knows the exact note or pitch by the position of his vocal cords in his throat for a particular part of a song. All of this clearly points to Ravenclaw-style mastery.
-----------------------------------------
🪄Mashaal Shaikh: Slytherclaw
✧ Core drive: His Slytherin side shows up in how he treats the idol industry as a game of chess he could win. He firmly believes that rules don't apply to him and hunts for loopholes in them. He's driven by a specific vision; his grand ambition of ensuring India is represented on a global scale—similar to how BTS represented South Korea—is peak Slytherin.
✧ Execution style: This is where the Ravenclaw in him shines. He used to spend his teenage years locking himself in his room for 14 hours straight practicing his guitar, which shows Ravenclaw mastery in his chosen interest/obsession.
Conjointly, Ravenclaw rules individual thinking, which he prizes dearly, as proven by how he pushes the idea of free will and resists being boxed in by anyone. His habit of using sharp wordplay—oh, that's very Ravenclaw, I must say.
-----------------------------------------
🪄Hemaang Singh: Griffinpuff
✧ Core drive: The Gryffindor in him shows up in how he built a protective armor after being bullied as a child. His bravery shows up in how he rebelled against his dad by singing in secret in the bathroom (rebellion is a strong theme for Gryffindors, though it does exist in other houses too). And that, my fellow passengers, is what he quotes as his quiet rebellion.
✧ Execution style: For him, the Hufflepuff side lies in waking up early, hitting the gym consistently, and staying disciplined. This isn't just a lifestyle choice—it's how he ensures he's never vulnerable again. He uses a steady, badger-like (the house mascot) work ethic to fuel his inner lion's need for strength. It's also evident in how he is very community-driven and fiercely loyal.
✧ Slytherin undercurrent: Interestingly enough, Mashaal once shared how Hemaang hoards 12 months' worth of protein powder on his shelves. That's signature Slytherin long-term planning to protect his power.
-----------------------------------------
🪄Kurien Sebastian: Griffinpuff
✧ Core drive: His Gryffindor side shows up in his instinctive, protective urge to defend others and champion the underdog. He's impulsive, loudly competitive, and shamelessly, chaotically himself. (I'm aware that not all Gryffindors are loud, but one thing that's consistent across all Gryffindors is that they live entirely in the present moment.)
✧ Execution style: He achieves this by channeling that fiery energy into Hufflepuff-like pure, radiant enthusiasm, acting as the ultimate loud cheerleader for the entire band.
-----------------------------------------
🪄Shayan Pattem: Slytherdor
✧ Core drive: His entire persona runs on the cheeky, performance-driven energy of a lion. He feeds directly off the crowd's validation, loves the spotlight, and that competitive, annoying-yet-adorable tantrum he's known for? Yeah, that practically screams Gryffindor.
He once said, "If you aren't living on the edge, you're wasting space." Do I need to say more? That's peak Gryffindor energy—adventure and thrill-seeking.
✧ Execution style: His Slytherin traits manifest in how he uses his charm and status as the kanishta (youngest) of the band to cross lines, steal, and assert his power over his older brothers.
✧ Hufflepuff undercurrent: Just like Hemaang, Shayan has an undercurrent, which happens to be Hufflepuff. While he loves being unique, he hates being a lone wolf. He prefers being in groups and relies heavily on the safety and closeness of his bandmates. (Again, there are tons of Hufflepuffs out there who love being lone wolves, but this bro right here fits the stereotype a bit too well.)
In conclusion..
This is just my opening theory based on the current vlogs, live streams, reels ,interviews as well as what their passengers say about them. I'm still falling down the rabbit hole, so I'd love to hear how other Passengers view their houses. Let me what your takes are on their houses :)
Before you hop off the 🚂,Here's a group pic of our boyz plotting how to trick the pure bloods at Hogwarts that they aren't muggles.
