"Giving Back" Top Priority for goTRG in 2018 Students at Miami's #FienbergFisher Center Enjoy New #Laptops, #HolidayGifts #MIAMI, Jan. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Students at the Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center enjoyed the merriest of holidays thanks to goTRG, a leader in omni-channel and #supplychain solutions. As part of a year-long community service project, the teammates at the company's #Miamiheadquarters dressed as Santa Claus and his elves and #distributedclothing and toys to more than 350 students at the school. goTRG is viewing 2018 as the year to "Pay It Forward," said goTRG CEO Sender Shamiss. "After record-breaking sales in 2017, goTRG will be sharing its success throughout the communities in #SouthFlorida in the new year." In December, goTRG challenged its teammates to find ways to "volunteer, help the community and make the world a better place." In fact, Sender asked his teammates to identify and suggest outreach programs to be included in the GoTRG #GiveBack 2018 program. "The company's mission is two-fold; it seeks to bring some joy to members of the community in need and to "create a #positiveenergy and culture in the workplace as well as your daily life," Sender said. The students at Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center, a #Title1school , were the recipients of the company's first outing. More than 350 students were called, by name, by Santa to receive holiday gift bags, said Patricia Anderson, goTRG's human resources manager. After nominating the school as the company's first #outreachproject recipient, Anderson worked hard with her team to learn information about each and #everychild so they could personalize the Christmas #giftbags. The bags included appropriately sized pajamas and toys, selected especially for each child. "Seeing the kids react to hearing their names called by #SantaClaus was so fulfilling for me. I know we are doing the right thing," she said. Along with the individual gifts, #goTRG has committed to helping the school build a #roboticslab. The company already donated 25 #laptopcomputers and is planning to outfit the lab with necessary technology. Additionally, goTRG's team members, and mascot SKUgo, will be on hand in February
