These Feta Chicken Burgers are a tasty take on regular burgers. The creamy and tangy feta cheese goes well with the juicy ground chicken. Great for a summer barbecue or any other outdoor event.
Ingredients: 1.5 lbs ground chicken. 1 cup crumbled feta cheese. 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices for garnish.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, chopped red onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the chicken patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C and the burgers are cooked through. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a toasted bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices. Serve the Feta Chicken Burgers hot and enjoy!
