alright don’t get me wrong, i’m not against straight people having gay ships or having the headcanon that certain characters are queer, but i do have a problem with people stereotyping and fetishizing gay ships, or “turning them straight”.

when i say turning them straight, i don’t mean that they genderflip one character and not another. i mean the whole feminization of one character while masculine traits are accentuated in the other. for instance, daisuga isn’t personally one of the ships that i like, but a lot of the daisuga content that i have consumed portrays an overly feminine version of suga (literally the suga-mama “joke”..), same goes for iwaoi in which oikawa turns into a twinky, kuroken where kenma gets turned into an uwu soft boy, etc etc.

gay people have different personalities. all gay couples are different. the whole point of a gay relationship is that there’s not a female.
