These are weird and really flippin' annoying. I smell gas, and the smell isn't stronger in any one place and/or DH doesn't smell it? Phantom odor. Manure or sewage? Unless deer have just pooped an incredible amount in our yard, phantom odor. Burning plastic? Nope, just a phantom odor again. The weirdest is when my brain literally confuses scents, so that mint smells like gas and my tuberose & vanilla-scented sugar scrub smells like burning plastic. Whyyyy?!
I'm considering messaging lidl about their store policy for scented items because 3 days of migraine for a 45 second walk through an aisle is horrible and I am a big fan of disability advocation, but I don't know if I'm gonna be seen as a Karen and if I have the energy to contact them to not hear anything back.
thoughts? anyone contacted a supermarket for medical reasons? probably not.
