I wanted to see this band live for a long time, have mixed feelings, maybe darkwave is not for boring Tuesday nights, but I enjoyed this dude immensely nonetheless #thekvb #oslohackney #fendertelecaster (at Oslo Hackney)

Just outside of Hackney Central overground station is live music venue Oslo. Multiple floors, an outside bench area and a huge industrial converted open stretching main room.  It's a really quirky and unusual space, perfectly fitting with its East London location.  The food menu compromised of starters, sandwiches, salads and burgers.  Including light and crispy bartered calamari with chilli dipping sauce and a New Orleans burger, with a HUGE fried chicken breast and a heaped scoop of guacamole.  But the main event was their new cocktail menu.  Favourites included the Icelandic Martini with homemade chamomile syrup and liquorice bitters and the Bianconi, a tequila twist on the Negroni.  (Be careful this one will hit you hard after one too many!). The Oslo Spritz, was their own tweak comprising of elderflower liqueur and rhubarb bitters.  The Aviation was a delicate lavender infused potion with a boozy maraschino cherry on top, perfect for the sweeter toothed fans.  A really nice spot that's buzzing with musical talent and two for one cocktail deals on the weekends!
