" so ... i mightâve screwed up. â youâre not sure how to word it â itâs a bit of a long story in itself, but not long enough that it doesnât make any sense.  â i â yâthink i could couch surf for the night? â with all that you do around the city, itâs difficult to keep up with your finances. between student loans, rent, and other basic living expenses, thereâs not much money to your name. to you, money is the last thing to orbit around your universe â far and long off of your mind, often pushed aside and forgotten despite the importance that it still plays in your life.
and you say for the night, but you donât really know how long thisâll last. but itâs fine : youâve got your suit. holding up your alter - ego, or whatever it is people want to call it, gets a little difficult during times like these where yâdont have your own privacy. but itâs fine. youâve slept on rooftops before, in the summer heat and the midwinter cold, know what itâs like to lay on concrete for an entire night, only to wake up with a crick in your neck and feeling as unrested as you did before you even fell asleep. youâll resort to that if you have to, after youâve exhausted the rest of your options.
neither are you the type to worry your friends. harry â he doesnât need this, you know he doesnât, but desperate times. you would much rather let yourself burn or drown than to burden your friends ( theyâre family, as far as youâre concerned ). â you donât need to worry about me, either. iâve got it under control, â you say in an attempt at reassurance, though ... well, youâve got a feeling harry isnât all that convinced.
