Decided to visualize how our fronting works, please do NOT use this as any medically professional guide as this purely based on our experiences.
Explanation time! So with co-fronting there is two main sub categories, thereβs the main front where itβs the most dominant fronter in control of most things. (Or simply βthe drivers seatβ), in our experience so far itβs usually one or two but thereβs two varying levels of it which Iβm unsure how to fully explain without sounding insane.
Now there is secondary co-front which is not as extreme(?) as main front but are fully present and solid in front room who has a lot of influence. They can be heard and seen and whatβs typically done. More in front the more blending and blurriness. We both consider βmain frontβ and βsecondary frontβ to be co-fronting labels. In our experience main front has more βsayβ but otherwise more or less equal influence.
Now with co-consciousness there is another two sub-labels we use - well not really labels but rather a βmore co-conβ and βless co-conβ. In our experiences (we feel we have to constantly state that) the two levels are still just co-con, aware of front and both have passive influences over front (with the less co-con the passive influence feels βlessβ, and generally feels like theyβre just watching from the door frame peaking in, and awareness of front seems generally less). All in all these are still co-conscious fronts.
All backed with a lovely triangle diagram, once again please donβt use this as anything official as this is based on OUR experiences. Questions are always fine.
