a/n: I've loved June Osborne since the first episode of THT. I loved all of her flaws and all of her strengths. I loved watching her character develop all throughout the series till season 6, episode 2. June's fight with her mother triggered me so much. And make no mistake... I wasn't triggered by what Holly Maddox called Nick. Even though I'm a die-hard Osblaine shipper, I never wanted to see June defend Nick, wearing rose-tinted glasses. What I wanted was for her to not sound like a fucking delusional teenager while fighting with her mother. I mean WTF, June? You couldn't form any sentences other than "No. No. Not him. He isn't like that." and "Fuck you."? You are a grown-ass woman! Use better words to explain yourself! You didn't need to defend Nick's character. But I expected you to defend yourself and your daughter's origin. Seriously, for me, season 6 lost the plot right in that 'Holly and June fight' scene where June reverted back to the same doormat she used to be before Gilead. Anyways, sorry for the long rant 🥲 I tried my best to rewrite that scene, and I hope you enjoy reading it! 🥰
