Hey, thanks for the awesome intro! So, sibling rivalry, complicated family relations and stylish costumes, sounds fun! Of course there is a mother character that has to be fridged, lmao and of course dad has to be this legendary mofo. Definitely sounds like I might be able to get into it, and I already see one of the things that would interest me most if you know what I mean. :D

Yeah it’s basically a lot of our favourite tropes, including a few of our least fave tropes like the Fridged Mum and giant boobed females (in DMC 4) but overall it’s awesome.

IMHO Dante is at his best in DMC 1 and 4 

but DMC 3 is almost universally acclaimed as the best and it has the Vergil storyline

and Lady who is the best developed heroine (IMO) and not objectified in that one. It’s also I think the best and easiest to follow storyline via cutscenes but feel free to cut forward, I do. 

It’s basically the personified Red Oni Blue Oni trope. Also although Eva is fridged it is highly implied esp in DMC 1 and somewhat in DMC 3 that her humanity and spirit is what gives Dante the edge to win not being his father’s son. Dante doesn’t respect his dad, at least at first. He hates him for disappearing and leaving Eva to sacrifice herself to try and save the twins. Dante then turns his back on his heritage and becomes a fun loving goof and Vergil rejects his humanity as weak and chases his father’s legacy setting up a classic showdown with Lady and Arkham’s family battle to highlight it. DMC also has a history of not being afraid of emotions (it means Devil May Cry) and women inspiring Dante - Eva, Trish and Lady all inspire and help him in different ways.

DMC 3 hits alot of the buttons but I’d still like more from the story given how frickin awesome the set up is but the characters are really compelling and leave you wanting more.

About DMC, only heard of it, haven’t the slightest clue what it’s about.

This hot dude

fighting this hot dude

who both happen to be twin sons of this awesome duo

one of which is actually an ascended demon (Bug Dad),

the other of which is just awesome but got fridged cos of this asshole - the Emperor of Darkness/King of Hell/Captain too many eyes/hands (whatever)

who fights Hot Dude No 1 in the first game with the help of a clone of mum who turns good.

Oh and there’s this awesome lady in DMC 3 (prequel)

who has beef with this creepy bald dude who happens to be her dad (yeah she got her looks from mum)

who helps Hot Dude No 2 to unleash hell to become like Bug Dad (everyone wants to have the power of Bug Dad - it is known...)

who sealed away hell in the first place.

Then we get this dude in DMC 4 

who happens to be the son of Hot Dude No 2 (we’re not sure how - Hot Dude No 2 seems to dislike humanity/feelings in general) and spends the fourth game fighting his uncle (misunderstanding) to save this lovely lady 

who then gets kidnapped by the Pope who he has to fight too, along with a giant statue of his Grandad...(did I mention everyone is obsessed with Bug Dad?)

Have I missed anything? (DMC 2 ugh sorry, don’t know that game well :( )

This large-scale concept seeks to take advantage of the limitless possibilities of the deep sea by linking together vertically the air, sea surface, deep sea, and sea floor. Now is the time for us to create a new interface with the deep sea, the earth’s final frontier.

Breaking free from past patterns of land development, which have focused mainly on efficiency, this plan is intended to promote true sustainability while maximizing use of  the deep sea’s resources.
