This was really rushed, I had to speedrun this because I have been sick and feeling like absolute shit for the past few days TᴖT

I really hope it's not the new corona variant that has been spotted in Finland 🫠👍

I don't think it's because of age because he doesn't have them on his other side of his face.

His scar from losing his left eye glow along with his other scars and tattoos(?) So I do believe they are scars as well. But from where and who gave them?

Thats were my speculation/theory/headcanon comes in.

I believe he got them during his fight with orlagk.

orlagk after slashing gunmar's eye out, got disarmed and started losing. got desperate, so tried to ripped out his other eye to get the upper hand. Maybe gunmar managed to get orlagk off by himself or bular jumped in stoping orlagk from doing proper damage ( because in "age the the amulet" bular was there too and i like the idea of bular doing his own part in helping his old man kill his boss. He would probably would've been shocked to see his father get his eye torn out and maybe even a bit scared. But I don't think he would just stand there and do nothing as orlagk kill his father) Orlagk gets decapated but has taken gunmar's eye and left some marks of the attempt at taking his other eye.

This is my version of Bular's mother, but it's the first time I've posted about her.

Tana'his is Orlagk's eldest daughter, the first general of his horde. I really want to make a related post just for her story, so I will just give the essential information.

Yes, Bular looks very small, but that's because Tana'his is huge, being 12'23 tall.

Bular and Skarlagk are really close in age, Bular being only 30 years younger because his birthstone was conceived not so long after Skarlagk's birth. But they never were close friends, because Gunmar became spiteful against Orlagk.

Orlagk wanted the whelps to grow up together because their similar age, so there were occasional play dates, since after some thought, Gunmar wanted his son to have a bit better social life with his peers as a whelp than he himself had.

But after they got older they didn't really hang out together outside the necessary.

so i def think it is a worthwhile idea to follow up on Jims attempts to alter the past and that things would end up very different. i get that that is sort of the intent but i mean beyond his knowing/plans. like i originally liked the idea that he is attempting to better the world by changing things and making life batter for everyone with his foreknowledge but unintentionally causing new issues. but then i thought, what is his supposed to be that the Krohnisfere is a double-edged sword in that it may send you to the past but that past is not the one you knew, so you're foreknowledge is very limited in use. Jim sorta got what he wanted saving the lives of those he cared about but must now live with the full knowledge of these lives being changed from what he knew. i think it would be a very compelling story to both follow toby's journey as trollhunter, while also following jim having to adjust to this unfamiliar new reality.

here are some of the interesting deviations i think could make for compelling alterations to make this reality feel different enough for viewers and to keep jim on his toes.

-morgana is the good one who created the amulet to create a champion for magical creatures while merlin was the one who let his arrogance and fear transform him into the evil one. would also be more evident that her replaced hand is made of jade or magic. also a bit more heavily implied that morgana also romantically loved Guenièvre. it would also be merlin who later revives arthur as the green knight, in an attempt to build a new, warped version of the knights of the round table

-the arcane order are known to troll-kind but live by a firm belief in noninterference, regardless of the potential threat. they would eventually still take up the same intent for the titans from ROTT based on realizing the damage their inaction has resulted in

-gunmar and bular were actually killed in the past during their failed coup and Orlagk and Skarlagk have remained leading the gumm gumms together up to the present. the dark lands were never a prison and is used as the domain of the gumm gumm as they use killahead bridge as a mobile portal there. possible later endgame plot of the bridge being used to seal the gumm gumms away, as originally, by toby. also as morgana never enchanted the decimaar blade, Orlagk does not brainwash/assimilate trolls like gunmar did, so his army is just of evil trolls that grows and shrinks over time through battles.

-there are less changelings in the world but the ones that are have taken the place of many humans in power, including world leaders. Nomura and NotEnrique would be the leaders of the changelings

-angor rot is more of a very dangerous and unpredictable wildcard the changelings inadvertently unleash

-as the Krohnisfere cannot be in the same timeline twice, it was never with Zong-shi in this timeline, meaning he is part of the council of elders and trolldragons have contact with the other markets

-after setting him up with his mother so early on, jim learns that strickler is not even a changeling in this reality, and jim has to live with him growing as an intrusive father figure early on

-the previous hunter who toby retrieves the amulet from the remains of is not kanjigar, possibly Unkar or gogun. kanjigar is alive but remained in the old world with Ballustra.

-draal would serve as tobys teacher/trainer alongside AAARRRGGHH. draal is less aggressive as he does not have the daddy issues or as damaged pride over the trollhunter position. blinky would be the troll market historian and crackpot.

-as he is in less shape, tobys training would focus on unconventional battle techniques. this timeline would also see the gang delve into the mystery of tobys lost a sea parents.

-jim and claires relationship is not as deep as she is not involved in team trollhunter till later, as her brother was never taken in this reality. she would become involved, just under different circumstances. instead she would begin to start communicating with her/being possessed by morgana, in a different version of what occurred in the original timeline but earlier on, and ends up leading her to discovering jim and tobys secrets

-the romeo and juliet story of the garden troll and river troll would be more prominent and a drawn out story

-jim would also take up the warhammer as toby now had the sword. he would also arrange for douxie to join team trollhunter much earlier

-both jim and toby would stand up more to steve, and toby would have the confidence to start a relationship with darci earlier on, with her eventually joining the team too.

-ursuna is still a traitor and jim is constantly trying to find ways to publicly expose her

So in honor of my birthday, here is a headcanon on how Ruby got her name:

As a young whelp, Ruby was a wild one. She’s always getting into trouble. This is before she meet Orlagk and the naming ceremony. So far as she knows her name is “little brat.”

When Orlagk first saw her for the naming ceremony the first thing he notice is her skin. It’s smooth and very red. It was made out of light ruby.

Being Orlagk, he was lazy with names. So he called her Ruby. She was not found of the name. She even objected. But Orlagk didn’t listen and went on his way.

I e seen some theories regarding Usurna's relations with the gum-gums and her potential relations with Gunmar and Bular (such as her mabye being blood related to atleast one of them) for example her being Gunmar's daughter because she has certain traits simaler to Gum-Gums. Like her face shape and eye color.

I personally like the idea.of her being part gum-gum for one reason or another but I don't think she's related to Gunmar or Bular

Orlagk

I have a few reasons as to why, some of them are very loose but still there reasons

1. They boy have red eyes

This is one of the weaker points . Every other Krubera has green eyes, but not Usurna. You could argue that it was just a design choice to make her look different or something but I mean maybe the more reddish eye color was something she picked up for her dad

2. Hands

Most the other Gum-Gums have claws,. including Gunmar and Bular.

However Orlagk does NOT have clawed hands

He has normal hands with black nails. Which means if he hooked up with a Krubera there would be a smaller chance of them getting clawed hands like Bular unlike if Gunmar hooked up with Krubera because genetics

Now you might be wondering. If she's related to Orlagk why would she help Gunmar cause wouldn't that mean he killed her father?

I don't have a very good answer for that besides that mabye she wouldn't know that's really her father or that she just didn't care for him and didn't mind if he died (I Mean Orlagk is called the OPPRESSOR so I highly doubt he was like by any of the other tribe leaders. Frankly if that was my dad I wouldn't say anything either). Given her character and status both could make sense

Why would the Krubera let her rule if she was half Gum-Gum?

This would also play on her not knowing, but if she was hypothetically related to him I doubt her mother would have said anything. A Krubera queen sleeping with Orlagk the oppressor? The next heir to the throne being related to a warlord? Yeah that's not a good image. Either that or she just didn't say anything herself.
