Eu realmente gostaria de entender quando que começaram a normalizar o sincretismo dentro das religiões afro.
Estava rolando minha fy esses dias e me deparo com uma imagem de Iemanjá, ela branca, magrinha e do cabelo liso.
Gente, nossos ancestrais teriam vergonha de ver a gente simplesmente aceitando e normalizando algo que eles lutaram tanto pra tentar acabar com isso..
A representação embranquecida dos orixás esta apagando suas origens africanas aos poucos.
Religiões de matrizes africanas vieram de uma cultura e origem negra.
Nossos ancestrais tiveram que engolir o sincretismo goela abaixo para não morrerem naquele tempo.
Sincretismo não tem que ser normalizado.
homestuck x umbanda with the ancestors wearing traditional yoruban clothing would be so cool. Like the place that orixas hold is slightly similar to the ancestors framework in troll heritage/superstition so I think that'd be fun! I might work on it after I learn more stories about the orixas
