The vessel can stand by itself but I would recommend testing it perhaps as a vase on a shelf. The piece was fired in a woodfired kiln, which produces a very organic surface decoration caused by high temperatures, licking flames, ash and drafts of the kiln from the burning of hard and soft wood. It is 7 3/4” tall, 4 1/2” wide, and a 1” mouth/rim. It weighs 14.7 oz. it holds 4 fluid oz.
