a couple of new serpentverse dragons i've made recently. hognose i'll make another post on at some point because they have relatively extensive lore (they are a cousin of the largest flying dragon currently living, and have been using that as a basis to... start a cult...). Second guy is tentatively named siggy (short for cygnet) and i don't have much idea of their situation but i think they may be involved with cadnir (dragon wizard i don't think i've posted about at all).
Reading the last Temeraire book and my god. Ning is the perfect nightmare combination of her progenitors and I LOVE it.
Draws.

“It’s the art of noticing,” Wukong spoke suddenly, starry, youthful eyes glinting in the moonlight.
“You noticed,” he turned to Erlang, “I’ll always thank you for that.”
Speaking of panels. I watched the hb panel at galaxy con recently.
And I have such an appreciation for viv, seriously. The way she handles the criticism.
She got a question about what a hypothetical story would look like, if Stolas stayed a villain.
And she said that there is certainly a story there but that it's one she wasn't interested in telling. She also mentioned that she felt that the product loses quality if you stop making it the way you want and instead try to cater to other people, which I wholeheartedly agree with.
It felt calming knowing that she has no plans to listen to what "fans" want and that they're telling a story they want to tell and hope it resonates with people and that's that.
I'm so grateful for that, that's exactly how it should be done. And no matter how many people hate this show, it's popular for a reason. I know I get sooo sooo much enjoyment out of exactly what they're giving me.
Astrid: What? No, you have this totally undercontrol
Hiccup: Yeah, yeah- you're right!
*HAHAHAHAHAHAHA*
Astrid: What was that?
Hiccup: My inner self
