INTERMISSION : Maine’s best kept secret, a place by the name of Wicked’s Rest, is an important supernatural hub. One of only a handful in the world, it serves as a beacon for those with stranger-than-human qualities… and those who hunt them. The town’s history is complex and will change depending on who you ask, as most of the population remains unaware of their supernatural neighbors. Magic in this town recently recovered from a near-total collapse, and for the first time in a while, everyone is enjoying a little stability and predictability in their lives… until the next thing goes wrong, of course.

Wicked’s Rest is an original, literate supernatural/horror-themed roleplay influenced by folklore and current media alike. We are tumblr-based and use discord for OOC/mod communication. We have almost 200 open ‘skeleton’ character concepts for you to choose from, with rich lore to help drive plots that also leaves plenty of room for your own creativity.
