Infinity Sonic
So, this was an idea that I had for an original design I had for Sonic that I decided to call "Infinity Sonic". And the basic concept is that Sonic would turn into this form after collecting a set number of rings. Although, I realized that this concept is a little similar to Sonic's Super form since I'm pretty sure that in some games he can turn into Super Sonic after collecting a set number of rings as well (I think). But for this form, I had the idea that after collecting a certain number of rings, he would be able to maintain that same number of rings for a short period of time instead of gradually losing rings which would in turn sustain this form.
When I finished with the rough sketch of this drawing, I actually wasn't very happy with it, because it looked kinda boring, and the design was somewhat similar to Super Sonic. But after outlining it, coloring him in and adding a bit of shading and some cool effects, I have to say that I'm actually really happy with how the final result turned out. But if I'm being really honest, he looks really damn cool
Sonic the Hedgehog belongs to Sega
The design for this original form for Sonic belongs to me
Artwork belongs to me
I'm rambling through figuring out part of my identity, so ranty long text incoming.
I'm not interested in being in space, honestly the vast amount of nothingness seems lonely. But more recently I've been feeling like that's where I'm from, maybe even a step out in a further dimension. Maybe that's why most of my forms can fly, I was designed with weightlessness in mind, unbound by gravity.
It would explain how I ended up on earth too, I needed to find somewhere to call home, somewhere that had sentient life like me, and earth was the first place I found. Did I have to give up my body, my abilities, my memories to do that?
Like I always considered myself a psychological otherkin, with only hints of spiritual otherkin due to my belief that the multiverse theory might be true. And no flak to physical otherkin, but I just can't express my identity in that way, when to me, being physical shapeshifter would mean... well... I had my true body that can shapeshift. That a scientist could take a dna sample from me in my human morph, and what they'd find would only be an uncanny mockery of human dna. So physically I see myself as human, even though I hate it.
That's why this new spiritual expression is a surprise. Like yeah, I'm mentally a shapeshifter, cause of my psychological identity. I know deep down that's what I was meant to be, with all my phantom shifts, longing for something beyond, and animalistic urges, and thus shall think of myself that way. I think therefor I am and all. And I considered that maybe on a spiritual level I could probably have a shapeshifter soul. But this could put the whole spiritual identity on a new level.
I could see myself giving up my entire identity for companionship and love. A decision that would be made with a heavy heart and desperation. If I did, then I made the right choice. I'd take being stuck as a human, and the limitations it brings, if it meant having my family and friends. I just had no idea how painful it'd be to sacrifice such an intrinsic part of my being. That's if I truly am a being from another plane. Seeing as I can't actually remember anything if that's the case. This is based solely on what my longing and my instincts are telling me.
It's just so confusing, because let's say this theory is true. My true body is tangible nothingness, it's the void, it's pitch black. But it's also stardust. You look close and you could see the sparkling vastness of a night sky. I don't think there are actual stars and planets inside my fur, it's more like I'm a representation of space itself. But then why would I exist, as in what made me sentient? Are there others like me then? Clearly not many or even from the same plane of existence if there are.
Honestly I don't even know what I'm going on about anymore. This all started cause one part of me felt natural in saying I was created both in and from the starry vastness of space. While another part started screeching in terror and loneliness of ever considering that place home.
Sometimes I wonder how did Zhongli and Venti found out about each other’s true form and what was their reaction to it.
Because they probably met each other when they were already archons with a human form, and I don’t think the gods just showed their original form to anyone, so there must have been a long time before these two got comfortable with each other enough, to trust the other with being able to see them take this form.
For Barbatos, it was not a big surprise. He suspected, that the great and powerful Morax would look something like this, especially, since Liyue’s people had illustrated him like a dragon on many things. The only thing maybe that caught his eye was, that how enormous he really was. So Barbatos pulled him a little bit with being an overgrown lizard, but that was it.
For Morax, it was more of a surprise. By assuming his original form and by Dvalin – who is a dragon, even if a bit different from him – he expected Barbatos to be too some sort of dragon with wings, a lot bigger than Dvalin, almost the size of him. But instead, the Anemo Archon turned out to be so small, that he hadn’t even noticed him first. Barbatos was having quite the fun with Morax’s shocked face and used this chance to fly into the Geo Archon’s white hood and just hide between the smooth fabric and long hair. He was waiting for Morax to get furious and threw off the hood trying to get him out of it, but the Geo Archon just pulled it more on his head, so he would be safe in there, and the only thing going through his mind was, that in this form, Barbatos looked more adorable than anything he ever saw in this word.
