The protagonist of this day is not me, it is Obatala, my father, my Orixa who has been so patient, so constant, so strict when it has been necessary to get things, opportunities and people out of the way that I wanted but did not suit me, and to always stay focused on what I am looking for, and what is most convenient for me.
The protagonists of this day are my mother Yemọja (Yemaya), my queen Ọṣun (Oshun), my goddess Oiá; Yansá (Oya) who is my second mother, Èṣù-Ẹlẹ́gbára (Eleggua) who always opens my ways, Ọzun and Oggun who are always watching my back, Olóòkun, Nana Buruku, and Obba who are always manifesting in dreams and omens to point me on the right path, either for my convenience or to help others.
