Moving Forward
Though #NCPH2018 is over, our #wg2 is moving forward. I had a lively discussion with @raboyl and @1dan_ott about next steps.
First, we’ll definitely keep the conversation alive with blog posts, with a blurb in the NPCH newsletter, and with a History@Work post. We are also in conversation about a possible roundtable or special issue of The Public Historian.
Second, we want to round-up folks who are interested in pursuing possible action re: new public history economic models. In particular, Rachel has suggested a public history cooperative, and I have thrown out an idea about organizing (think SAG). So, if YOU want to get involved, let me know.
