When architecture allows itself to breathe, it transforms into an experience. It’s incredible how the suitable material can dictate the mood of a space. Here, the raw concrete feels tactile, almost like it tells its own story, with each imperfection catching the light. The way daylight pours in elevates the space, highlighting every contrast and bringing warmth to the cool tones. The merging of hard surfaces with the softness of nature in this space speaks volumes about coexistence. The daylight streaming enhances the textures, adding layers to the materiality that shift as the sun moves. This interaction elevates the functionality, allowing the space to adapt and evolve with the light. How do you feel about the rawness of a space?

It is my absolute pleasure to invite you to my next solo exhibition titled UNCONSCIOUS at @jdmalatgallery NEW YORK. It will take place from September 9 trough October 1st at 507 W 27th Street in Chelsea. I developed a painting technique trough an active meditation that’s practiced in front of the canvas with the brush in my hands. The objective is of course to make a painting using only my unconscious brain. In this meditation I relax myself actively, emptying all ideas related to painting and relying entirely on the idea that my unconscious is capable of making the painting. Excluding conscious decisions what is left are organic forms. It is not me, Santiago Parra the individual that has come to be trough 36 years in this planet but rather it is the organ that constitutes my brain that makes the painting. What we witness in this paintings are acts of nature, as are waves, telluric movements and organic formations. . . . . . . . . #contemporaryart #art #nature #organicform #painting #contemporarypainting #newyork #jdmalatgallery #naturalworld #landscape #idea #naturalpainting #universe #waves #mountains #cells #atoms #theatom #electrons #orbit #space # (at New York City) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChXcf47O1OQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
