Dipped Oreo Flags are a festive and delicious way to celebrate Independence Day! These treats are ideal for patriotic gatherings and will add a pop of color to your dessert table.
Ingredients: 1 package Oreo cookies. 1 cup white chocolate chips. Red and blue food coloring. Assorted patriotic sprinkles. Wooden skewers.
Instructions: To separate the Oreo cookies, carefully twist them so that the filling stays in place. Use a bowl that can go in the microwave and stir the white chocolate chips every 20 seconds until the mixture is smooth. Split the chocolate that has been melted into three equal parts. Color one part with red food coloring and another with blue food coloring. Leave one part white. Use the colored chocolate to cover about a third of each Oreo cookie. You can use red, white, or blue chocolate. Do not coat the top third. Put the cookies that have been dipped on a tray that has been lined with parchment paper. Add patriotic sprinkles to the cookies while the chocolate is still wet. To make the flagpole, stick a wooden skewer into the white, uncoated part of each cookie. Put the cookies in the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes to let the chocolate set. Now it's time to enjoy your 4th of July Dipped Oreo Flags!
