I'm starting an all orc band that only plays ambient rock. The band is named Petrichor and Verdigris. There will be two drummers, one bass guitar, one lead guitar, a rhythm guitar and synth guy, and one guy that doesn't play an instrument; he literally just paints in the background of all of our sets, really absorbs the vibe and turns it into impressionistic mountain landscapes and coastal forests, and he sells the paintings after we're done.
We have kind of like a Radiohead vibe, but we change out vocals for visuals. It's really all about the performance, you know. What you play and where you play it and how we're all feeling when the music kicks up.
A little late, but I was celebrating... Anyway, As it's a Commission Saturday, AND we just opened the Calico Chimera Cafe, were we serve Dreams, Stories and Inspiration, Here's a sample of what can you get if you choose our delicious Commissions with some whipped cream on top! A nice DnD team of an Orc Bard, a Drow Monk and a very smitten Dwarf Barista. Just mind the sign, we don't need caffeinated Kobolds!

Lyrhan, orc bard! my LARP character ♡
first makeup test for a larp character - an orc bard!
water based yellow as the base, cream olive green for cheeks and forehead, cream blue green for jaws and contour. another layer of dappled water based yellow for highlights. prosaid for the latex. then just regular makeup stuff.
face beat looks kinda silly when it's on an orc. will have to figure out how to blend the fantasy orc style with a high fashion bard style. this characters final form will be a harlequin so I'll need to play around with that!
I was fighting against the lipstick (which had been rescued from the dryer!) and I still need to figure out how and when to paint and apply the tusks
Happy Halloween, this is the only day I can wear Tulip outside and not get weird questions so I'm sitting on the porch 😄 limited success with skin details like ridges because my makeup sucks and my body runs so hot, but she looks pretty good anyway , I think.
