I loved Dean and Jackās bonding time. Iām so happy for Dean to be able to experience that āDadā feeling, since Iām sure he would have loved to be one (Ben).
I donāt really like that they keep splitting Sam and Dean up (apparently next episode itās gonna be the same..thatās three episodes in a row), because frankly their relationship, them as brothers and a team is what drew my into Supernatural and what keeps me going (not that I donāt love other characters or storylines). Thatās why I wasnāt too sure about this episode before.
Surprisingly, i liked it and I liked Dean and Jack being on their own.
Jack driving Baby was adorable. Them going fishing together, all the great things Jack said... yes. Thumbs up for that.
On the other hand, the writers clompletely ignoring the relationship Sam had with Jack, him taking care of him since the beginning, not so happy about that.
I liked that they brought Rowena back. I love her and her interactions with Sam.
Nickās storyline is intriguing. At least it was until the end.. If they just end up making him Luciferās meatsuit again and thatās it, Iām gonna be angry.
The whole thing with āWho murdered his familyā and āmaybe it was Nick himselfā was great. Wondering whether he always had serial killer tendencies or if that is only Luciferās doing.
By now, I think it was Lucifer who ordered his family to be killed to make Nick susceptable to him.
Deanās dizzy spells... I mean, I am 99% sure that Michael hasnāt left and is just in hiding, or gathering his strength after the spear wound, or stuff like that but I donāt quite know how to interpret those...
So all in all... Iām not totally sure. I want to like it, and I want to like season 14, but Iām just wary. Wary of the writers fu*ing it up... On the other hand, we canāt forget that they have brought us a lot of great episodes and characters. We always focuse on the negative, and I think thatās kind of sad...
Letās wait and see, shall we?
