With all the "Snow White" discourse going on...
A palate cleanser.
The great Dave Fleischer directed this Betty Boop-based take on the story for Paramount, back in the day. (1933...) With guest star Koko the Clown's vocals by Cab Calloway, ffs!!

Hey @rembrandtswife: Re: "that armor Herewiss is wearing"...
...over here? Yeah, it is nice, isn't it!
Here's a test shot I did shortly after I acquired it a couple/few years ago. (ETA: re-rendered just now to fix a problem with Dusty's armor's skirt, and to make Segnbora's hair look a little less like she just got out of the hairdresser covered in hairspray.) They're both wearing the men's version of the armor; the women's version gets very boob-plate-y, depending on the character's chest measurements, and I don't hold with that kind of armor design. It's a one-way path to serious chest injury, and no one who routinely engaged in sword fighting would wear something so misguided more than once.
This armor is a welcome relief from the usual hilariously (or tragically) overstated, over-ornamented, badly designed crap. Alas, Daz3D is, in way too many cases, the House of Idiotic Armor. (There are 36 pages of it here, and some of it just hurts my brains to look at.)
This harness simply pretty much covers you in the places you want covered while you're busy with the thinking parts of fighting. And even magic-workers like these two would, when going into battle, wisely prefer to be wearing something that doesn't require time off their lifespans to protect them—as would either sorcery or the Fire—and won't become ineffective should their concentration slip while dealing with other issues.
Also, the texture is pleasant. It looks like this armor's been around the block a few times. (As for the loincloths, they're a little silly, but it's easy enough to render an image without them being visible.)
So, definitely a keeper: and recommended for other Daz Studio users.
For those of you interested in aurora-watching: There've been a couple of CMEs in the last day or so, and the wavefront of one of them is in the process of arriving in Earth orbit this evening. The larger one will be arriving sometime tomorrow.
There's no telling for sure whether significant auroral activity might be happening where you are... but if you want to be able to make an educated guess, the link above is for you. The maps there will give you 30-minute warning of whether anything's incoming that's likely to be visible.

YAY, the windowsill Habaneros have started budding!! …I was starting to wonder what was going on with these guys. :)
(sigh) These aren't the white Habs I was originally after (for illustration purposes as much as anything else). Those can wait till next year. But historically these—a standard Capsicum annuum x chinense from Unwin—have grown well on the windowsill of our south-facing kitchen window. So we'll see how they do this year. @petermorwood's been missing having homegrown Habs available...
(immediately runs off elsewhere online to shop for liquid plant fertilizer...)
okay well first and foremost i am a faggot
