#oprah interview

My takeaways:

1-Oprah the Good: NOprah wants the world to remember that she is actually the GOOD witch, not the bad witch. She's a giver, a hard worker, a film star, a victim, and a survivor who helped elect the first black president of the United States. She was abused so therefore she would never abuse kids. She's been betrayed by her own sister who sold a story so she would never wreck families for ratings. In fact, she's innocent of all wrong doing (lies about Whitney Houston & Michael Jackson) and the public's perception of her is skewed because things aren't always as they seem.

2-Sensitive about the Logistics

When: "Postponed probably 3x because this was...2021? I was still in my crazy I can't leave the house period. I didn't leave the house for 322 days...by the time we finally sat down, I think they were both ready." [Perhaps she was defending herself against covid related backlash? Prince Philip backlash?]

Where: "Well first of all THIS is Montecito. It's just right down the street from them. It's right down the street from me." [Again, perhaps she was defending herself against covid related criticism. I always thought, like Harry's book tour and many of their other activities, the setting was San Ysidro Ranch. QVC Jamie's house has a sprawling property and I imagine that Ellen, Ted Sarandos/Nicole also have huge properties as well. Victoria Jackson doesn't reside in Santa Barbara.]

What: "They didn't know obviously anything that I was going to ask them but I had said to them ahead of time I'm gonna try to cover everything. This interview took 3.5 hours..." [Whether or not they knew the questions matters not bc they all 3 knew the ANSWERS that would be shared over the 3-5 hour period. NOprah's job was to let them spew the right answers. Also, did she forget they filmed inside of a chicken coop?🐓]

Why: "I want it to be a win-win for you, so I was just trying to carefully go through everything that had come up in the past..." [🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄]

3-Friends for Life: I've seen headlines suggesting that Oprah is revising history. I dont get that impression. Some like to think Oprah and others are unsupportive of the lying con artists, however she promoted their failed products: first the clevr mushroom drink (from her personal kitchen), and recently the spreads as her "favorite things," she won't abandon the sinking sussex ship unless the trio uncovers an earth shattering revelation and even then she'll want the exclusive. The trio adopted two (2) problem children and IMO they all feel stuck for life. When Tyler Perry is willing to request that Beyonce's mother record an interview and also provide direction for a black designer, the trio is still team sussex. In my opinion, Oprah named the megflix show With Love Meghan, she even provided the title page (a carbon copy of Oprah's Soul Sunday show & love is in the details, blah blah blah). She even visited MEAgain on set, and when the show was royally panned, Oprah sent out a tweet condemning the criticism. Then there's her bff Gayle who has the audacity to use her platform at CBS to continue pushing Sussex propaganda. This month she pushed all the talking points about Harry's return to the UK with hopes of reconciliation with his father and brother. She has a lot of nerve after promising to share (racist) RECEIPTS along with actress Jameela Jamil.

4-Silenced Gesture: "Ok very nice. I don't think I've done it since. I don't know where the hell that came from whoop ok. I wanted to be clear bc was she silenced were people telling her not to talk. That's why I said that. I said it for clarification bc I didn't want later to hear well no it wasnt that, it really was that I was silenced. They wouldn't let me talk. So it was all for clarification." [Who cares about her silenced gesture? This wasn't the purpose of her commentary, just silly filler.]

5- Privacy: "my father and brother are trapped..." [A long convoluted story about Oprah being such a hard worker that she missed out on a clinique gift with purchase at Marshall Field's.]

"Like if you don't want to be bothered, stay home...if you want to keep your privacy then don't go out. Very different though, I think, than being royalty or being even a movie star."

Very odd placement for a lecture about privacy, however I do believe this was Oprah's 1 shot across the bow. Perhaps she felt embarrassed, insulted & betrayed after their Kartrashian's birthday party publicity stunt. This was Oprah's way of saying don't involve us, any of us, in your stunts. Next time, if there is a next time, kindly stay at home.

[I do wonder if Oprah's name was mentioned during Melinda Gates' meeting with Catherine. 🤔]
