Remembering Lorna Raver 1943-2025

Actress Lorna Raver has died at 81. Her best role was in Sam Raimi's excellent horror movie Drag Me to Hell where she played Mrs. Ganush, who puts a curse on the protagonist played by Alison Lohman! She appeared in dozens of other films and TV shows too including a small part in Opportunity Knocks!

Conmen Eddie and Lou learn that the owner of a mansion is out of town. But, their plans of burglarizing come to a standstill when the relatives of the owner arrive at the mansion.

Julie: We shouldn't be doing this Tommy, you know how Dad feels about things like this in the House.

Tommy: Yeah, you're right, but we just couldn't leave em out there, Besides, in the City there won't be any first Animals to help.

Julie: I guess you're right.

Julie: Do you think it's gonna live?

Ranger Dan: Well to tell you the truth, Sis, I'm doing it for the Kids. The city just has so much more to offer them. Better education and culture, the kind of things that aren't easy to get here. I think it's important. Yes, and it'll be nice to see you more often, too. Goodbye Sis, all my love.

Ranger Dan: What's wrong, guys?

Julie: Well, Tommy and I were just wondering, if we'll ever see the Evergreen Forest again.

Ranger Dan: Sure you will. While we'll come back often to visit, but think about it, the City will open up a whole new world for you.

Tommy: Yeah, Dad, it'll be great.

Julie: I just hope there's lots of Parks to play in.
