AI CTRL. Open Source AI Ethics Framework
ByDr Crystal Heart Kazmi [email protected] an active and rigorous exchange with some top notch AI associates regarding the thresholds of superintelligent risk and the structural validity of machine rights, I have been encouraged to bring the core of this discussion to everyone who wants AI and humans to be safe from each other AND in fact to be safer together! The debate…
I’m happy that you chose to end things not because it didn’t matter, but because sometimes letting go is the bravest form of care. Holding on can hurt more than releasing, and I finally understand that peace doesn’t always come from staying.
I’m sorry I ever felt like a burden to you. That feeling sat quietly in my chest, growing heavier with every unspoken thought. I tried to be strong, to be enough, but somewhere along the way I started believing that my presence made things harder instead of warmer. That belief hurt more than the goodbye.
Still, I don’t want this ending to be wrapped in bitterness. I want it to be soft. I want it to be honest. Some things are not meant to last forever, but that doesn’t make them meaningless. What we shared mattered. It shaped me. It taught me.
I know this feeling won’t last forever. Sadness has a way of convincing us it’s permanent, but it never is. It passes slowly, quietly, until one day you realize you can breathe without thinking about it. I trust that time will be kind to both of us.
You’ll find peace. I believe that. And maybe I will too, in my own way, at my own pace. For now, I’ll let myself feel, and then I’ll let myself heal.
No worries.
Today, I find myself tracing invisible lines again the kind that the heart remembers even when time tries to make you forget. Maybe it’s fate, or maybe it’s something softer a quiet tug that led me to you, thread by thread, across miles and moments.
I’ve always believed that people don’t meet by accident. Sometimes, we just stumble into each other’s gravity, pulled closer by threads we can’t see but somehow feel. Maybe that’s what happened with us two lines of fate crossing at just the right moment, after all the wrong ones.
So tonight, I’ll light a candle for the invisible, for the unseen, for the love that waited through years of almosts and not yets. And as the flame flickers, I’ll send a silent wish through the thread that binds us, may it never break, only stretch until it pulls us close again, in every lifetime to come.
Here’s to the invisible thread that found its way to you. Happy birthday!
Dear you,
I don't know if you'll ever read this, and maybe that's for the best. There’s something freeing about writing words into the void, especially when they’ve been trapped in my chest for too long. This isn’t a plea, a regret filled essay, or a romanticized recollection. It’s simply a letter, one that I needed to write, even if it never finds its way to you. I’ve started writing this letter in my head a hundred different ways, and somehow none of them ever felt quite right. But maybe they don't have to be perfect, just honest.
So, here it is: I’m sorry.
Not in a heavy, dramatic way. I know I messed up in some ways. I wasn’t always fair, or kind, or as open as I should’ve been. Looking back, I can see things more clearly now how I acted, what I avoided, what I took for granted. You didn’t deserve that. The truth is, you were someone really special to me. You still are, even if we’ve gone our separate ways. You made me feel safe and seen in a way that caught me off guard and sometimes, I think I didn’t know how to handle that. I wish I had done better. I wish I had said more, or maybe less, at the right times. I think about you sometimes in songs, in smells, in moments when the world is quiet and my mind wanders. Not with pain anymore, but with gratitude. You were a chapter of my life I’ll always carry with softness.
This isn’t a letter to try and reopen old doors. It’s just me saying thank you and I’m sorry in the way I couldn’t before. I hope you’re doing well. I hope you’re laughing easily and loving freely. And I hope, truly, that you’re happy whether that path leads you far from me or, somehow, circles back around one day. But if it doesn’t, that’s okay too. You were a beautiful part of my story, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
Thank you. For the memories. For the lessons. For the love, however fleeting.

I have always fought for justice, human rights, and dignity for the oppressed—as a Pakistani Muslim advocating for fair treatment of minorities (Christians, Hindus, and Muslim minorities) in Pakistan, for peace with India and Israel, and for a world where no one is treated as an enemy except criminals and terrorists. My commitment to human rights and moral leadership brings me to the crisis in…
