She sat in the room that was coated with gentle colors and littered with stuffed toys.
Clearly meant for children much younger than she was.
She was a teenager now. She didnât need toys.
Rather than playing with them like a baby, she remained seated in the cushioned chairâ the most comfortable chair sheâs ever had, although she didnât want to admit it.
She frowned. Why was she being forced to wait here? What were the adults talking about outside?
It was strange. She didnât understand. She didnât understand anything about these people, she didnât understand anything that happened today.
First, they took her from her room, put her in a car, and drove her here.
Then, they got her to change into these disgustingly plain, surprisingly pleasantly comfortable clothes.
And after that, they asked all sorts of questions. Like her name and age, what she wanted to be called, or whether she was okay with living with an older boy.
And now, she was put here in this stupidly childish room, sitting idle while waiting for the adults to finish talking.
The girl scowled. She shouldnât be here. She should be training, or studying, or fighting. There were probably dozens of monsters out there waiting to be slaughtered. She didnât have time to be sitting around like this.
She didnât like this. Even though their words were strangely comforting and they havenât hurt her yet and they had the softest smile sheâs ever seen from an adult, she didnât like these people one bit.

Hesitantly, the girl pointed to a name.
ââŚI like this one,â she muttered, still a little unsure about speaking to these people.

There was a big boom in the appearance Animatronics after the Rat and Cat theater incident. Not only were suits ultimately scrapped, but many companies came up with the idea of having their animatronics appear human. Animal animatronics, while fun in concept, have been proven to be terrifying for young children, so having what appears to be an actual person perform for you is less scary. Plus android entertainers was a fun concept. Itâs been used throughout the years, with every new model appearing more and more human. Some newer models even have the animatronics âbleedâ if they have an injury (Context: A layer of red tainted oil resides underneath the first layer of âskinâ, puncturing the skin will release the oil). Yes, itâs a waste of money, but people are too far deep in the rabbit hole to stop now. Many different companies have their own unique quirks with the appearance animatronics; some have their joints visible, like Afton Corp, some have a squishy synthetic substance that resembles skin, other may include details like muscles, scars, tattoos, etc. Rarely anyone uses animalistic animatronics anymore, a few businesses do, but they arenât as popular as places like Candyâs Burgers and Fries or Freddy Fazbearâs Pizza. Fun Fact! Afton Corp used animal animatronics up until the bite of 83 (Fredbear Bite), after that they made the switch!
